Well, gee, what has all happened since the last time I made an entry!
WOW, lots of things!
JImmy and I are getting married Dec. 2nd, 2006! yeah, I know, SHOCKER!! I know many of you never thought anything like this would happen! Honestly, I wasn't really sure either if it would ever happen but I found that your opinions differ when you are actually put into that situation.
Still going to school. Taking an algebra class over again cause I found that my LAST class (Calculus) was not easy to catch onto when you took your Algebra class 4 years ago! So, same class, same teacher so this shouldn't be too bad. I'll take Calculus in the Spring and be done with it finally!!
Jennifer is doing really well. She is still living with us but she is currently looking for jobs in the Mt. Vernon area close to her boyfriend. She seems really happy with him!
The whole situation with Jimmys daughter Mary has been going ok. We finally got through all the court cases caused by her lies and the Order of Protection she filed and had the visitation court case scheduled. Found out that day that her attorney is filing for a withdrawel meaning she fired Joey...hehe
So, Joey has 21 days to find an attorney and after that time we have the ability to take her to court w/o an attorney.
I'm thinking it'll go this way: 21st day hits, she finds attorney at last minute purpously, attorney needs more time to look over case!
BUT...on a brighter side I have not been going with Jimmy to pick Mary up in a long time cause of scheduling issues mainly but I've decided not too at all till the papers are signed. She seems to be talking more to him about Mary and actually set up a deal where we get her for 8 hours every other Sunday. I would rather not rock the boat till she's bound by law :)

Going to see our Engagement photos tonight...really excited! They're going to be pricey but for someone that hates pictures (that would be me) it would be worth it!

Just got back from Minneapolis for Rennesaince Festival! I love going there every year and lately I had been flying to give me more time. This time we drove cause Jimmy and his parents joined me. Wasn't too bad but with stopping for dinner and other things the 9 hour drive turns into 12. ICH.
They all really had a good time and that is awesome. Jimmy already got an outfit. Shit, I've been going for 7 years and still don't have an outfit. Doesn't help that you can get a mans costume for 100 bucks whereas a womens is more like 350/400!!
He's really psyched though and is wanting to go to the one in Kansas City this year also.

Anyway, hopefully I can make it out here more to keep you updated but here's the scoop for now :)

Well, getting ready for a nice weekend. It'll be lonely cause JImmy is going to drill and Jennifer is in Macomb. I do have plenty of homework though and will be taking Candy out for her bday dinner this evening.
Last night was a nice visit with Mary. She is giggling and getting more of a personality.
Court is the 13th so we're all on the edge waiting to see what happens.
I don't think our lawyer will let us down though!
I'm going to give a shout out to my friend DAvid in Minneapolis. My baby don't feel to good right now and is having a hard time but I love him with all my heart and I know he'll get through this!!!

Took Friday off for the hell of it. When it came to it I shouldn't have. I was Miss Mood Swing from hell on Friday and I thank Jimmy everyday for putting up with me :)
I'm thinking this new BP meds they have me on are giving me headaches so today I'm not taking them to see if I get the headache again.
I started them on Friday and took it Saturday and Sunday also and everytime I got a horrible headache and I don't normally get them so that's weird.
Saturday was better! Went to the RODEO!!!! It was so much fun and our seats were fairly close!
Sunday we spent way too much money!! Jimmy, Jen, and I are not a good bunch to go shopping together!
Went to petsmart and got our babies one of those cat towers! Didn't bring the truck so Jimmy talked me into putting it on top of my 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT!! It was too funny but we made it home without any incidents!

Boy, I could sleep another hour or so. This weekend was really relaxing and I got a bit of homework done also. Trying to keep on top of my Middle EAstern history since that seems like the hardest right now.
I had been talking about how my economics teacher is really easy which helps me be able to spend more time on my harder classes. Well, he said last Wednesday that it might be his last class cause he doesn't have time anymore. SUCKS! Guess we'll find out this Wednesday what's going to happen.
Can't wait for this weekend. We're going to the comedy club on Friday, paintball Saturday morning, Rodeo at the Savvis center Saturday night!!! Going to be great.

It's been crazy around here. Been falling a little behind in my classes so now I have to get back on the bandwagon and buckle down!! SERIOUSLY!
Think I failed my first test.
Valentines Day was really weird. The day was horrible. Had to work than go to belleville to work than went to go fail my history test. By the time I got home it was around 7:00.
Jimmy had a dozen roses and a bear waiting for me. Than Jimmy came home right behind me and had a giant caterpillar...(stuffed)
I love him so much! I told him he didn't have to do all that and the main reason my day was going bad is cause I knew I was going to only be able to see him for about an hour before he went to work.
But than he told me he also called off so he could spend the night with me.
How sweet is that.

Well, this weekend will be my catch up weekend. Hopefully I'll see Danny, he's supposed to come hang out on Friday :)

Wow! The past couple days have been crazy. Busy at work, working out, going to school. The house is a mess and I haven't had one second to straighten it up since the weekend!!!
Starting to make me a little depressed by I should be able to get a little cleaning done tonight and I also need to pack since it's Jimmys guard weekend in Arkansas.
That'll really be a nice break! While Jimmy works I'll do some much needed homework and try to prepare for my test on Tuesday!
Baby is still stuck in our room since her surgery. I can't wait till we can let her out cause our room is starting to smell like a cat box. If I was home at all I could avoid that but it's hard right now. I think we should be able to let her out in a couple days :)
It wouldn't be so bad if her and kitty didn't roughhouse so much! They do that hind-leg kicks and I'm waiting for Kitty to kick open Baby's incision.
Well, gotta run cause it's nutty here!!

Not much happened last night. Went and started working out with Jennifer after work. We thought we would try out the Power Yoga class. Holy shit!! I've done most of these moves but this instructor had you holding them for over a minute. A minute is a really long time when you're holding all your weight with your index finger!!
I don't feel sore too much today unless I cough or breathe...hehe
Tonight we'll catch the water aerobics class. that is always really fun.
Asked if Jimmy could have his mom go with him to pick up Mary and I'd go with him to drop her off. Really want to stick to working out after work!!

Ok, so I'm really not THAT into football but we had our superbowl party yesterday and it went off really well! There were about 20 or so people and some were watching the game and others were playing cards. I made way to much food but I think everyone had a really good time! Jimmy was sick all weekend and had to work all weekend. I felt so bad. Let me see...what else happened? Saw FlightPlan which was ok and attempted to watch The Mangler Reborn...Are you kidding me? It was the worst movie ever. I thought the first one was bad but they outdid themselves on the second one. Jimmy is not aloud to pick out scary movies anymore!! hehe
I'm feeling really bad right now cause we have to keep our baby kitty in a seperate room because she just got fixed and declawed. Her and kitty roughhouse too much so I can't trust that they'll be nice and not tear up her incision on her tummy. Poor little thing.
Anyway, other than that not much happened this weekend.

Well, our lawyer suggested Jimmy have someone with him at all times when picking up and dropping off Mary so there I was :)
I didn't stare onto the porch when we drove up cause I'm just trying my hardest not to start anything. Jimmy said she gave him the "look" when picking her up and even slammed the door in his face when he dropped her off. I wouldn't have thought she would have gotten the papers from the lawyer yet since we only saw him the day before so I'm only guessing it's cause of me. Boohoo
As i said in my previous posts I just don't understand her reasoning. The one thing that scares me with her hatred and her attitude is that she is going to take it out on Mary to get back at Jimmy. Maybe we might want to voice our concerns with our lawyer. With the way that she acts and the way her attitudes change on a dime I would guess bi-polar disorder. Or how bout just bitch disorder!!?? hehe

Anyway, got to see our little lovebug!! She is sickly spoiled by us and I think she knows it! It's so hard not too when we see her for so little. We're always giving her snacks which I don't like but without knowing when she ate last or anything in that two hours it's hard not to give in if she's asking for them. (more like grunting and pointing at them) hehe

But, Jimmy is getting sick now and I hope it's just a 24 hour thing cause he has to work all weekend and our superbowl party is Sunday. I would cancel it now though if he asked but I know he won't.
We should be getting our other baby back today also. She went to get fixed and declawed and we haven't see her since yesterday. Im so sad!! I'm going to give her kisses all night tonight!!! How sad am i? hehe

Well, off again. Figure I should work since that's where i"m at!!

Dropped of our baby today at the vet. (kitty) She is getting her front claws out (no more bleeding wounds!!) and getting fixed. Poor thing. I'm sad we don't get her back until tomorrow!!
Stopped by the bank to fill out paperwork cause I lost my checkcard. Our bank hours are 9-4. What the hell kind of crap is that???!!! One of the employees let this guy in at 8:57 so I started to just follow them in and he's like "We're not open yet!"
WHATEVER! Two fucking minutes!! Couldn't let me hang out in the lobby. Shit, already taking vacation time just to get to the fucking bank!

Anyway, I'm over it :)

Appointment with the lawyer went AWESOME last night. We really really like him and he was really straight forward but pretty much said Jimmy was getting royally screwed. So, now it's his job to help him get what he deserves! It just drives me nuts cause we know she's going to fight everything every step of the way and her parents are behind her. I just don't understand. It's not like we want to take her daughter away from her but Jimmy just wants all the time with his daughter that he can get. I don't understand how they can think that's a bad thing. There is nothing that they may have against Jimmy that isn't lies out of Joeys mouth! So, we gave our lawyer copies of all the false police reports she filed on him and told him everything that we possibly could think of that she could try to use against him. I'm positive that Jimmy is going to come out a winner. I mean, can't get any worse than 4 hours a week which is what we're getting!!!

You know! Maybe I'll finally get myself back into the school thing before I graduate? I've always been a procrastinator when it comes to studying. Nothing has changed! Test tonight and have glanced through the study guides a bit. I won't panic until about an hour before my test :)
I still have time. hehe
Taking an online class on the Middle East and I just find myself holding my tonque most of the time. There is lots of talk about Christianity and Religion in general. Comments posted talking about how if Christianity would have fully spread to the Middle East they wouldn't have the problems they have now. What a load of crap. And we think Americans are perfect? I'm holding off, choosing not to make any enemies. I still have to see these people on exam dates..hehe
This week is going to be crazy. I'd say I can't wait till the weekend but getting ready for the superbowl party so this weekend will be crazy also! Hopefully Jennifer will help me out a bit so I'm not a slave to the football fans!

OMG! What a weekend...
Here's a list of what I needed to do:
1) clean house (kitchen, bathroom, vacuum, etc)
2) Do laundry
3) Clean basement
4) Go grocery shopping
5) Read chapter 3 for History

1) Helped Chuck move
2) Went shopping
3) Watched movies!!

I could just scream!!! So now I get to spend this week in the evenings catching up on everything. I can also save my last ditch attempt for Saturday. Superbowl is not till Sunday thank god!!
Still don't really know what I'm going to serve.
My luck I'll have enough food for an army and nobody will show up :) Gotta love it.
That happened once when my roommate and I were going to have a party a long time ago. We got a keg and everything and like maybe 6 people showed up and barely any of them drank beer. Spent the whole next morning pouring it down the drain. How sad :(

Up and at them early this morning! Jimmy and Jennifer and I all pitched in to help Chuck move. Boy do I hate moving but I've come to realize it's all about the company. And how much shit they have...hehe
It wasn't that bad at all and Chuck had a bunch of hogies and soup ready for everyone for lunch. What a guy!
Off to Office Max to buy a computer desk. Just like any other time though you come out with way more than you had on your list or not a think that was on your list. Raced home in the rain and we forgot a tarp so everything was nice and wet. Spent the rest of the evening putting everything together but my parents came over and Dad helped with alot so it wasn't that bad. I got a kick ass chair though!! It's one of those ergo back chairs that doesn't have a back but has the butt and knee cushion so it's almost like your kneeling. It'll probably be real comfy for the first couple days and than I'll be stealing Jimmys chair!!
I had my laptop (jimmys laptop) on the dining room table with all my homework so it's real nice to have it all the in the computer room now. It's setup to where Jimmy and I can work on the same desk with our computers and still have a bit of room for me to do homework. It's one of those L-shaped designs.
Another bonus for the day is that I didn't have to do the homework that I was dreading. Just read an email from the instructor saying it wasn't what he expected and that we'll all get 100% on it w/o having to do it!! WEEEEE
BUT....move on to the homework in my other two classes. Might as well get it done before the weekend is up since this week is going to be crazy.
Going to see a lawyer on Wednesday so we can be prepared for court. I'm willing to spend whatever it takes to have Mary more than 4 hours a week. That's just crap. It blows my mind when I see that happen. You have single moms wishing the dads were more involved and raising the children on their own and for the dads that want to be 100% involved they have to deal with psycho bitches! I don't understand why people have to be that way. It only hurts the children in the long run.
Well, better get to my domestic duties....(hehe, i said duty)

Last night we had Mary for over 3 hours!! With the visitation Jimmy has we usually only get her for 2 and that's not including travel time to from Alton to Granite City and back. I just love it when she's around! I never though I was much of a kid person but I think i'm really changing in my stubborn ways!! hehe
I just hate the look on Jimmys face when he has to take her home. It just breaks my heart. BUT! We have a court date in March and we are seeing a lawyer next week to make sure we are prepared. Jimmys looking on making it a legal joint visitation. The only reason he got so little in the first place was cause Mary was sick when she was born. Can't wait! Now we get to by her a little bed and get the place setup to have her more often.
Anyway, school is tolerable so far. Doesn't seem to overwhelming but let me give it another couple weeks. Got quite a few things on our plate right now. Trying to get the loan for the house we're in and trying to plan for a trip to New York in May. We were going to take an Alaskan cruise but figured we'd try to save the money and plan better for it and take it next year :) YEAH! Also getting ready for the SUPERBOWL!! Go STEELERS! hehe
The only reason I'm rooting for them is cause that's who our Schwans guy likes. Usually I just flip a coin if none of my teams are playing :) Maybe we'll get some free hot pockets if they win. I can say my devotion as a fan pushed them to winning...hehe
So, it's Friday. Nothing planned for the weekend but would really love to go fishing and Jimmys mom and dad's house. Jennifer and I might go do that if it's not raining or really cold!

Went to Poplar Bluff, MO Sunday to visit my old friends Matt and Stephanie and their new baby. The crew moved down there because Matt got his dream job at a radio station.

It was really cool to see the inside of a radio station. I had always been interested in that kind of stuff.

Boy do I feel old though. I went on this trek with my friend Jimmy and both Matt and Jimmy are fairly new Dads. I remember when we all used to go out for beers and shoot the shit and now it's all about the babies! Wow!
It's crazy what babies will do to a grown man!!
I guess instead of everyone else being strange though I'm actually the odd man out now.

I've been in this constant inner struggle with myself. I'm 31 living in a friends house and really not any closer to anything than I was when I was 21. Kind of sad when you think about it but I'm not sure if I believe in the typical life mold that seems to be hanging above us all. (marry,kids,house w/ white picket fence,etc)
The truth is I'm not sure what I believe in. Guess I better hurry before I don't have much more time to figure it out :)
Or...just not think about it and take life as it comes to me :)
